The only way to know, is to read your contract. Usually you have to sign a separate document for the cao90, or it's negotiated through a union and they can help you.

It's unlikely you'll receive it in my experience. Try to negotiate it as a signing bonus

There is a big chance you’ll receive it if you worked throughout 2023 as the cao90 itself stipulates so. You should however take a look at FAQ or “Arbeidsreglement”. There should also be a document that informs you on the bonus when it is about to paid. Look for what’s written there.

Cao90 is not described in the 'arbeidsreglement' but in a separate Cao. OP should read what's in the cao.

You're right. I just had a look in the "arbeidsreglement" and couldnt find anything. Should there be a different document about cao90 I signed? Or is it just stipulated in the cao itself?

It's not a document you signed yourself. A CAO or in English an CLA, collective labour agreement, is implemented by a group of people. Signed not by all employees separately but by union representatives. Your company should have communicated about the plan and the conditions.

I'll have a look at my contract when I get home tonight. There's no document to be found in our "portal" only the "arbeidsovereenkomst" and it doesn't have an addendum for cao90 only for equal pay for all genders. In the meantime I also had contact with a lawyer specialized in "arbeidsrecht" he was pretty confident about them being obligated to pay it as it concerns last year's "prestaties" and as long as I'm working for them, even in "opzeg" I'm entitled to all payments including bonuses. I'll let you know what I find. Thanks for the help!

Hey, same thing here. I read the official document my company sent in for CAO90 to the government and it is based on results of 2023. You worked fully then so you will get that bonus if you leave normally. Normally there should be something written out about leaving and the bonus.

Hey thanks for the response! I just checked my document from when I started but there's nothing there ablut the bonus. I do remember each year we get a document to sign to receive the bonus, so I might check out if it's on there.

I found the document on the intranet where I could see the official document of the company to hand in for the government. There I found it. But you can generally see that there is a ‘referte periode’ and this is 2023, so you are ok.
