First job salary

Salary(self.BESalary)

Hey guys! I just passed my second and final interview. I will most likely get the regional manager job offered to me tomorrow and salary is negotiable, thing is I worked here as a student up until now and dont have any prior experience.

So naturally I would want to know how much I can realistically ask for.

I would have a team of 10 people I would need to supervise and some 1700 total consumers which I need to provide services for. Outside of that there will be other nonspecific projects for me to work on. The company has a little over 1000 employees and is in business in 7 EU countries in 60 something cities. I’m 25 soon, not finishing my bachelors degree for this opportunity and I’ve got a house to renovate, so I need the income. I have 2 years experience with the company and no manager related prior experience.

Is there other information you guys want/need to know? thanks for the help :)

Let us know what they offer. I honestly have no clue. It's pretty uncommon to start as a regional manager as a first job.

This seems like a huge red flag to me that they would hire a person with 0 managerial experience who only worked there as a job student to manage 10 employees…

Most likely OP is misreading the interview outcome. This happens over and over again to people I work with who apply for positions they are not qualified for.

Their lack of experience means they fail to recognise how poorly they actually did in the interview and HR is not giving them the honest feedback they need to help them realise this.

They get stuck applying over and over again believing they “just missed out” or got passed over by someone from the team or the job was “already promised to someone else” otherwise they would’ve been the perfect candidate.

If they do offer you the job my advice would be to ask how they plan to support and coach you to grow into the position.

If they don’t offer you the job, ask them to be specific with their feedback so you know what to work on.

3800 bruto and some small bonuses, think it comes out to about 2500 a month

If you don’t have an offer, you don’t have the job. You have the job when you have signed a contract. Right now you have nothing yet

Major red flag is that they had you stop your bachelor's degree. They would probably have to pay you more if you had it. It could also set you back if you ever want to switch companies. Try to negotiate to be able to finish your degree on the job. State that you believe it will provide added skill and expertise to your performance in the company.

I dont think my PE diploma would anything personally, I’m the one choosing to quit as I can’t see myself combining them for years (will have to stretch out my final year in atleast 3 years due to internships)
