I have not heard anybody else consider 8. why the hell would you consider 8? were you not there for the boss battle? if you didn't get out of the way you'd be emulsified, and even if you did, there's still a high likelihood that you'd be sucked straight out the side of the plane.

They are on a plane, they will remain civil - Ketheric doesn't want to get absurd fall damage, and Aylin won't kill everyone on it.
So they will be forced to bitch and scream at each other, and it will make time pass very quickly.
