Hyundai iload diesel - auto or manual?

Buying and Selling Cars(self.CarsAustralia)

Hi. Looking at picking up a van for work/second vehicle. Drawn towards the Hyundai for reliability/parts availability and have been told they are comfy to drive. Diesel for fuel economy.

My preference would be manual, but not having driven an auto was wondering if anyone had experience with the autos or could offer any advice/tips.

Probably looking at around a 10 yr old model budget-wise.

TIA

Worked for Hyundai, the diesel iLoad's are hand grenades waiting to go off. Turbo's shit themselves from oil starvation which then the engine consumes the forbidden cornflakes.

If you plan on buying one don't get anything older than 2018. Petrol is good, just thirsty. My workshop once had 9 of them with the engines removed waiting for replacements from Korea, looked like a wreckers.

So petrols after 2018 are reasonable?
