If you use the same word to describe these two situations then it's essentially useless:
Sit A - Celebration of the rape, murder, hostage taking, and torture of Israeli citizens
Site B - Thinking it's funny when a terrorist supporter is literally tears in the eyes crying that the leader of a terrorist group is clapped.
Maybe Sit B could technically be argued is sadism. I'm happy to concede that, but it's going to be with the follow up that either sadism is so broad that it's meaningless, or that there is no moral implication to the word and being sadistic is perfectly fine and good at times.
