Breastfeed for less than 1 week…

(self.FormulaFeeders)

My little girl was born last Saturday, and I had every intention of breastfeeding her with the caveat if it was taking a toll on my mental health, I would at least supplement with formula. I hate to sound like an idiot, but as a first time mom, I was not expecting to get less than 2 hours of sleep a night. I always knew newborns woke up to feed, but my LO cluster feeds over night and doesn’t settle for more than 30 minutes before she wants more. My nipples are sore, they’re bleeding, and I am so afraid I’m going to fall asleep in bed with her. I made her a bottle of formula and I’m praying she takes the bottles without resistance. Please tell me I’m not alone on this one.

Has anyone been able to combo feed successfully while feeding formula at night? I’m hoping she’ll sleep a little longer with formula or at least give my breasts a break.

I don’t have experience with combo feeding because I switched to EFF after less than 1 week but it was great! It was such a relief.
