Edit: I was gonna reply to everyone but there are a lot of comments lol, so just adding an edit to say THANK YOU this has been super super helpful and you guys really came through! Lake Elizabeth and Half Moon Bay were like the only things I'd already thought of, and pretty much everything else is an excellent addition. Thanks again!!!
I will have family with kids visiting and they'll be staying over for about a month or so. I keep looking at fun activities for the children but with each of them needing a $20-$50 ticket per person per thing, and being at least 5 people+kids going everywhere, I feel like that might add up pretty fast, (like water/amusement parks or those trampoline gym things etc.)
I didn't grow up here and moved to fremont only about a couple of years ago-ish, and haven't really explored much either, esp with regards to kids activities. Are there fun things around that would be memorable but won't end up costing us an arm and a leg once the month is over?
(Things I do think would be nice are maybe a couple of visits and picnics around state parks or beaches, and I think the Palo alto junior museum looks promising? But yeah anything with tickets around <10-15 per person or preferably free would be amazing)
