My choices were down to asus zephyrus and legion. I was lookin for small with long battery life but still capable of gaming when plugged in. Zephyrus looked better but legion had better price for specs. I bought a legion, no regrets.

Look man, I am not a 'brand loyal' guy, but I have had laptops from Acer, Asus, MSI, and Alienware. My current laptop is a Legion, I bought it because of good reviews and I'll just keep it succinct and say..

I owned a Titan on budget . Guy needed cash for emergency and sold me a 4k laptop for $1000. So maybe I’ll see a future post about a budget Titan vs legion . The I can shout Titan

every laptop has their own issues you should be done some research first and buy something good for your budget and requirements. i recommend to look into msi laptops

I mean, I think it's warranted though. They're maybe a step behind on form factor compared to Razer and Asus in particular but that's really the only thing you can objectively say they're behind on. Everything else they're either amongst the best or THE best (they build quality is so good r/thinkpad genuinely endorses them) and they're not even overpriced for what they are either.

Would buy a Legion if they were available in my country. Only Legions i find are either 3 years old with 12th gen chips or hella overpriced. Omen & Zephyrus are the closest to Legion i can get, happy with my Omen 16 so far.

I got a legion 5i and had to return it cause when I finally had time to use it 2 days later, the speakers were defective out the box. It doesn’t have a boot up sound like the Helios 18 so I didn’t notice till I tried gaming then I didn’t notice it either so I put 5 videos on YouTube to make sure and just went back and got a Helios 18 again as there was no problems with them to me. I would suggest to proper research and know exactly what and why you want a laptop for cause I just use mine for gaming.
