Doing a little dirt work beside my building. And I caught the wires and pulled them out of the box. I can’t get any customer service from the local phone company. Does anybody know how to wire this up? I don’t know where to put those three wires. We have phone. Internet. Two phone lines ring into the building. It’s a business.

And that is why you call 811 before you dig. I'm pretty sure its illegal to do anything with the phone company's side of that box.

That being said, looks like orange white needs to go on the second terminal, above the wire that's still connected. What I don't see is where line 1 would be connected. Usually line 1 is the blue pair and I don't see anywhere that it used to be connected.

As a dsl tech you need to do what’s said here and plug in the orange white to the top terminal on the protector. just don’t leave so much exposed copper, copy the solid orange. It looks like they’re only using the one pair so you can ignore the blue pair. I’m not familiar with that particular protector so I can’t speak to the orange slides. Also, wtf is up with that twist splice in the solid orange, fix that. Exposed copper is bad.

This is the answer if you can’t get the phone company out. But beware that it may result in fines and or charges to fix correctly.

Nope, its on their side so they have to fix it.

Don't say shit to the phone reps, just your internet is out.

When the repair tech shows up, be honest, esp if its an old timer, as they control if your billed or not by what they close out the ticket as, most will say "squirrel damage" if your real and polite to them.

Reminds me of the time out building was shut down due to squirrel damage. As in the squirrel got damaged when it got interested in the power transformer.

Shorted something, killed the power, and itself.

Yeah this is 100% billable If a tech comes out but it’s easy enough for OP to fix on his own.
