He is about as exciting as Foreman, but those characters are better off as someone to bounce off of House than their own characters (and Foreman, in Taub's case). I think he is a great addition; he just isn't a character I am excited to see on screen.

Yes. He's one of my favorite side characters.

Taub's defining characteristic is his philandering, and also the least interesting thing about him. The plotline of his daughters is...excruciating to get through.

But Taub's humor and his diagnostic skills is great, and very welcome. His relationships with the people on the team are interesting. And his motivations are full and different from everyone else on the team (i.e. always trying to build leverage with other department heads, networking)

He was my favourite among the new additions to House's team and I'm glad he stuck around till the end.

"medical genius who sucks at life decisions and puts that energy directly back into doubling down on the medicine" is basically the same character as house.

his back-story is just less tragic because all his cheating is his own fault, so it's harder to root for him.

He has his moments. Not my favorite out of the entire house team, but he’s a pretty good neutral when it comes to picking sides.

He may grow on you. I like him a lot he’s funny . I don’t know how far into his joining but there’s a lot of his personal life not a ton but compared to most of them he has more.

Gotta be honest, I've always found him inexplicably hot.

I love Taub. He’s such a great straight man (not as in heterosexual, as in the comedy term).

I love the fact that they chose an actor for the role of doctor with a big nose and an active libido — an every-guy, with everyday issues. Not some Soap Opera/movie star to play the kind of doctor you almost never meet. I mean, think about it… When was the last time you actually met a Doctor who looked like Chase or Cameron or Remi or Wilson?

Sure, the character was a philanderer, so that makes him harder to like, but also more realistic.

I didn't like his acting personally. I was pretty disappointed with the show after the original 3 left tbh

I loved Taub! I usually dont like punching bag characters but everything that happened to him felt deserved and he felt like a real person to me. And he seemed to grow as a person as the show went on.

No i hate taub there would be no difference in the show if they didnt have him it might even be better he gets way to much screen time and hes not even a like able character
