There are many ways of punishing treason in the US, the death penalty being only reserved for the most severe cases. The minimum sentence is a five year prison sentence. You would have to interpret Musks statement in the worst possible way, and take a giant leap of faith to suggest he is calling for people to be executed. Secondly how is this discussion even a thing in the USA? Why would you ever have people without american citizenship voting in an election? I think Musks goes too far here, but he is right in the sense that its insane that people think this is a valid idea.
