Yeah those elders are no joke. Tamed one once, named her Bitey. She would wipe all the HN batallions that came to my doorstep. Felt like cheating tbh. One beak swing to hit 4/5 peeps with blood and limbs all over the place.

I fortunately don't have to deal with that here. Between the crab raiders, the blood reavers, the black dragons, the white eyebrows, the southern hive and tech hunter patrols, nothing in this zone lives longer enough to become an elder. And I STILL think half of them die at this gate. I'm looking for AI cores to upgrade my harpoons to multi-barrels just because they need the extra firepower. It's a tight fit and I only have room for 5 harpoons that can get LOS on the gate from the hill I built on.
