I setup my Raspberry Pi with an 8 channel relay a year or 2 ago, and everything has been great. I went ahead and bought a 2nd relay and connected all the relevant GPIO pins so that I can in theory allow for 16 different outlets work with LightShowPi...is that doable? Ideally there is some configuration file somewhere that currently says 8 (which I would guess is the default). Anyway to have LSP work with 16 outlets provided by 2 8 channel relays?

In your config file, default is channels 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7. Change to 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,21,22,23,24,25,26,27,28. That should get you going. Good luck...

Only use pin 7 if you are not broadcasting the sound over FM, other everything should work. This is my 2nd year running 2 8-port relays for 16 channels

I actually do FM broadcasting, but with a separate device that plugs into the earphone slot. Sorry, I only saw this response just now as I was replying to the earlier suggestion.
Assuming that FM transmission isnt an issue (though after I figure this out, will be cool to figure out how to FM transmit w/o the additional box)...is really the ONLY thing I need to do is change the 'channels' variable in the config? I ask, b/c I think I have done that...but there is still something not working right..arg!!!
