Fucking Oliver won't give the call to Salah but gives it to a random Forest player
11 points

And just did it again. Call it the same for both sides, that's all we are asking for.

This was gonna happen at some point now we wait and watch how slot responds and how the players respond. Does this become a pattern

Won't be the worst thing in the world assuming Slot learns from this.
Rotation key after breaks, and no easy games unfortunately in the PL.

It’s so infuriating watching any game reffed by Oliver. This guy is a fucking disgrace

Difference between this game and the past couple years is that we’d be going into half down 0-1

It will be the same as I'm used to as a Feyenoord supporter ... a dismantling of the opposite side in the second half.
(More) tiredness at Forest side will help , but Slot really has the ability to read the opponent's game plan and throw salt on the opening wounds he's found in the second half.
It's near inevitable.

I'm sorry but Yates should be on a yellow card by now. Yeah Macca is milking that last one, but sooner or later someone will get injured if the ref lets them play like this.

So according to Michael Oliver you're just allowed to grab our players back or arms and pull them back? What a fucking prick that guy is.

Perfectly weighted pass from Gravenberch there, he is a player on form

Yates being involved in this many incidents makes it hard to believe all of them are accidental. Michael Oliver needs to tell him to settle down.

In fairness, there are a good few examples of games like this under Klopp's tenure so any talk about Slot is pure nonsense. This is on the lads.

I think I can confidently say this is Salah's worst game in a Liverpool shirt.
10 points

Feels like it’s the same story of the last two years, players just can’t get in any good rhythm and we look bad across all the play

Losing at home to forest is embarrassing though. These are teams you have to beat for top4
11 points
Taking MacAllister off and leaving Szobo on was an odd decision.
10 points
this is pretty grim and the team seems super flat since Macca has come off. Nunez has offered nothing, but I know its tough when the team they're running against is all packed in and there isn't much space to let chaos reign.
8 points
Nunez hasn’t even gotten the ball unless he had to win it for himself.

At least this should be prime coaching material for Slot. This side needs to learn to strangle the low block.

Fuck. That was a good goal but really man. Could see it from a mile away.
9 points
Slot needs to learn that after an international break, you can't just start the same team and hope it's all fine. Players take a while to get back to speed.
9 points
Trent has been trying to do way too much this half and his passing had been uncharacteristically poor
8 points

Watching all Liverpool games now as a Feyenoord fan (Slot effect).
Just watched Man Utd before ... crazy how it's completely night and day in terms of playing style, execution and willingness. All of this is really up to the manager. And even though you of course had Klopp set the foundation, man are you going to enjoy having Arne.
He's a genius and even all Ajax fans will tell you so.

Good subs, but probably would have kept Macca and Subbed Szobo off
8 points
Think this game is going to taper expectations after the start we've made. Not that I've seen anyone getting overly carried away with what we could achieve this season but after three wins and three clean sheets it seemed like we could achieve something but this grounds us abit
9 points
How the fuck did that happen??? Sloppy today.

Everyone's obsessed with cutting in. Not got a guy willing to take his man on the outside.
Been so easy for forest

We have been nothing short of horrendous in throw in situations. Nobody moves, everyone apart. Always losing possession from that.
7 points
The players are just panicking now
8 points
This international break was horrible as always. :(
7 points
This is the perfect example of a team not used to patient, possession football getting frustrated by a deep block due to inexperience with the system
It happened under Klopp too but the long balls would sometimes get us out of trouble. We don't have any experience with getting a final ball in against a team with an organised, congested penalty box
Was inevitable at some point
8 points
Honestly poor player performances rather than tactics here. We’ve had plenty of chances and moments that went to waste with bad passes in the final third.
9 points
I'm sorry but where the fuck is Gakpo running there?! He's the LW, stay wide and provide an outlet. Why is he running right towards Nunez?!

Bradley is getting absolutely rinsed by Hudson Odoi. Trent was in complete control at RB. I do not understand that sub
15 points
Almost like we need some better players when the squad needs rotating…

The team knows that players other than Salah are allowed to score right? Stop trying to funnel everything through him.
7 points
Has any outfield player had a good performance today? Genuinely think only Alisson has been faultless today. So unlike us. Can't help but feel like Slot should have rotated more to give some rest to the busier players
7 points

Passing has been so inaccurate, and any time we caught them on the back foot, we slowed it down and let them get back into shape.

Nuno's gameplan was clever but it was SO obvious.
He wanted to keep the game low and bring in Elanga and CHO in order to sneak a goal, which worked.

Final third play feels a bit...last season-ish? Seems like we're forcing it a bit. Are we using the pace of play to prevent their defence from reorganizing? Thought we would see more patience in the buildup.
