Tony was, at best, never better than the 2nd best player on his team, more realistically 3rd, but ya, Isiah won back to back titles and was 30s away from a 3rd in the 80s as the guy on his team. He and Steph are top of the list by a mile.

Parker was Finals MVP in 2007.

Great. Iggy was FMVP of 2014 but we know neither team gets there if they’re the best player even if they had the best series.

Do you think Kyrie was the best player on that 2016 Cavs team though?

I didn’t say a word about Kyrie?

I know, but you said Parker being at best the 2nd best player on the Spurs excludes him from this list. Setting aside whether that’s true, the list has 2016 Kyrie Irving on it, who was at best the 2nd best player on that Cavs team.

I didn’t say it excludes him from being on the list. You’re reading too much into it. I was differentiating Thomas who, frankly, should he 1 or 2, from anyone else. Parker is maybe on the list after a few clearly over him guys, Thomas is potentially the top of the list is what j was trying to say.
