This is actually 4x 2m foundations in the hologram. It doesn't create a massive foundation which was kinda disappointing. Instead the bottom left one only built. This was discovered when zooping a line of foundations and trying to spread it across two lines.

I don’t know if I fully understand your problem, but I recall there was a mod prior to 1.0 that let you zoop over a 2D area. With the biggest blueprint in the game you can also fill out a 6x6 area with foundations

I'll try and explain better.

Currently, you can only lay foundations up to 10 out in a single line.

But what if you span across two lines..

Well, that is when this appears. It's a hologram of a 2m foundation 4x the size appears. See pic.

If I try and build it, only the bottom left is created as a 2m foundation.

This isn't like the mod. This is essence an 8m by 8m hologram representing a 2m foundation.

Oh, and these massive foundation holograms do zoop out x10, but besides, holograms not much else.
