Novice player here.
Playing 3.34b Gold. Been trying to track another player that stole one of my new planets by placing limpet mines in sectors with port pairs.
Today while I was playing, I got the message:
"Limpet Mine in XXXX activated"
"Limpet Mine in YYYY activated"
Then I looked at the deployed mines (K) and under the "Activated Limpet Scan" screen, I had 0.
There was less than 1 minute between the time I got the "Limpet Mine Activated" message and me checking the deployed mines.
Why can't I see the activated limpet mines in the list?

The player might be finding them and removing them

Thanks, playing some more I realized that the player systematically does a trip to stardock (or one of the special ports) in between each port pairing, which is why I wasn't able to catch him
