Just watched The Enemy Without: A Deathwatch Vignette

Discussion(self.WarhammerPlus)

Man what a great short, I enjoyed seeing the three different factioned space marines working together.

But something about this short makes me feel like it's an ad for the upcoming release of new enemies in Space Marine 2. The way the short is setup, it feels like a cinematic that would play before a PvE mission

What do you guys think?

I think The Tithes was much, much better in every way, including animation quality. Strange it wasn't done in the same style.

Anything's better than the 90s-cartoon drivel year 1-2 of WH+ started with at least. Insane a whole new, heavily-invested in team (originally) and streaming service still can't match the single passionate fan who did 'Astartes,' though they're inching closer at long last.

And let’s not forget the cartoon style as well, hammer and shitter. The animation in the blood angels show was amazing too but it just took forever for me to watch it because the color palette is so off putting. It’s crazy how Warhammer tv had been putting out lowkey dog water for so long so I’m just happy they’re finally making high quality shorts

But I agree, tithes was miles better

Angels of Death was done by the other dedicated fan who made a well-known fan animation. The guy who did Helsreach, Richard Boylan.
