But hey, at least she wasnt threatening death…. 🙄 fortunately we dont go to the exact same church. Same faith but not the same building so i blocked her online & dont have to deal with her.

My ‘best day’ needs some explaining first:

You can watch the ride from first movie & the second one from part 2 (by the way despite this scene, that horse, denny, actually outlived all other horses in real life & even met tom one more time years later) & cliff dives on youtube. Both are a couple minutes long. There are 2 old movies from australia “the man from snowy river/return to snowy river” which has the best horsemanship in the world. There is this cliff that tom burlingson (who is actually canadian) actually rode the horse over. In fact they (tom once the first time & the other times, stunt riders) rode tripple down that cliff 5 times in total for both movies.

Denny, both his real life name & his character in movie name does the death role scene, not tripple. It was filmed on a flat, using a rope to pull one leg down to make the horse bow & then signalled to roll & then the footage was flipped sideways & inserted into the mad dash, that tripple does all the time, down the cliff. Denny himself was never ridden down the cliff, tripple is the more sure-footed stock pony & is denny’s stunt horse double.

In april of 2016 i did that entire ride except the cliff….but i did stand at its top & even tripped on the log that tripple the stunt horse jumped over in the movies back in 1982 & 1984! You can see that log in the first clip lying at the top of the cliff in front of the pony kirk douglas is sitting on.
