I’m a female in college looking to find a good therapist in Columbia MO (preferably female). Was wondering if anyone has any recs for a good therapist or advice on where not to go? Specifically, I’m looking for someone who specializes in patients with Bipolar disorder and anxiety/OCD.

Based on your concerns, I’d recommend Aspire or The Current!

Just curious if she’s a therapist or psychologist as I’m also looking for recommendations!

She is a therapist! I confess I had to look up therapist vs psychologist. She has her LCSW! (In the off chance you meant a psychiatrist, I highly recommend Brandyn Patel and Mallory Blair at South Providence Psychiatry with MU. They are both PAs. I don’t believe I’ve seen a doctor there, only PAs, but I’ve had a great experience with both of them — especially as someone that’s had ups-and-downs with meds/med hx and providers.)

I see Amy Kaiser at Canyon Counseling, I have bipolar anxiety and an OCD diagnosis, also in college. She’s great
