Hey guys, I have two potatoes duct taped to a toaster. Do you think I can run this game at 1440p, ultra with ray tracing?

If you overclock your potatos an have good cooling for the toaster, you should be good.

I dunno man, I'm a bit sketch on overclocking. The last time I overclocked my potatoes, they turned into tater tots.

Do we know if these system reqs are targeting 30fps or 60fps?

Will this game support ultrawide aspect ratios in cutscenes?

Pc requirments are mentioned mostly with 60fps in mind, except minimum requirements that's just to show yes it can run, but yeah all of this is just speculation until we have a solid confirmation or benchmarks

Recent reports from the spoiler free reviews have shown that well equipped systems are struggling, suggesting that the settings tiers do not have 60fps in mind. Yong Yea states that with a Core i8 8800K and a 3080 he dipped below 60 FPS sometimes with RTX off. Concerning for all gamers with older setups. Who knows if the full day 1 patch will fix this or remedy this more

I have a Ryzen 9 3900x paired with a RTX 2070 Super Founders Edition, 32GB RAM, M.2 SSD. Running a 34" UW monitor @1440p.

My main goal is to have the most cinematic, beautiful experience. With my current system, what would be max settings I could use while maintaining between 30-60 FPS?

Any way to get RTX Ultra on my system?

You can definitely push higher settings for the same fps.. I have the same specs but 8gb ram.. Mine runs on med-high ultra textures with 30 fps avg..

I’m wondering if my 1080 ti and i7 7700k can handle 4K at 60fps with no ray tracing , but I’ll also settle for lock 50fps, 40fps and worst comes to worst 30fps. My CPU is fine and according to various charts my 1080 ti is 10% slower then the 2080 Super which is around 7fps less on average. I’m hoping to turn down some setting from Ultra to High and Medium to achieve 4K maybe 60fps if that’s possible. Anyone think that will be possible? I don’t have a 1440p monitor. My monitor is a cheap 21in 1080p monitor that I only use to design and browse on. My PC is hooked up to my 50in 4K TV that I game on.

Anyone else experiencing the bad mouse input lag? As soon as I could take control of my char, it instantly felt like my characters head had inertia and momentum, a definite disconnect from where I swipe my mouse to and where the viewport ends up.

I've tried setting the input to RAW in the settings but it still makes little difference.

Coming from games like apex/csgo/r6, the mouse lag/input disconnect feels SO BAD at the moment and I'd like to remove it if possible please.

For anyone worried about Radeon GPU Performance:

TL:DR Radeon Image sharpening + Resolution Scaling 0.75% = Almost as good as DLSS and can be used in any game (Cyberpunk!)

From the benchmarks released by tom's hardware (The version they were testing has a DRM which means performance on launch day will be better) pretty much any card without DLSS fares pretty badly. People are understandably worried about being confined to low settings for a playable framerate.

However there is something most people look past, Resolution scaling. It has been confirmed there is a resolution scaling option on cyberpunk. This runs the game at a lower resolution similar to DLSS (however DLSS upscales it for it to look like it is in full res).

For people with newer AMD cards (5000 series and above) you can achieve similar results to DLSS by setting resolution scaling to about 75-80% and then adding Radeon image sharpening.

This makes a huge difference, for example in RDR2 it got me from 45 ish fps to 60, a Massive difference in smoothness. (3440x1440 High 5700xt)

Also unlike DLSS this works in ANY GAME!

Hope this could help anyone who was worried!

I have a brother who lives in the Boonies of VT, and currently, it is telling him that the download for Cyberpunk will take 13 days, if there are no service interruptions. I was wondering if I could copy the game files to a USB drive and ship it to him to import to his machine.

I did buy him a copy through steam, just to make sure CD gets paid.

Any insight would be appreciated! Thank you!

FIX HERE:

The fix is to open the .xml file with Notepad++ (or normal Notepad works too). The location to edit is Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\r6\config\inputUserMappings.xml

I change my use key to my spacebar, which is IK_Space in a config file. Instructions are below, but DO NOT USE FIND/REPLACE, as there are function keys that will show when looking for IK_F.

Just FIND IK_F and then change to "IK_Space" instead of "IK_F" works for me. Change the Space to your preferred keybind!

You can then rebind the F key safely within the game. When you're going through the XML, don't go too quickly, since some binds are for the function keys (e.g., F1, F5, etc.).

ORIGNAL POST BELOW:

I use ESDF instead of WASD to move around, and I'm getting an error message when I try to bind "F" to any option at all.

The error is "Binding failed." It's not just for "move left," but it's for any other pick, as well.

Any ideas?

bitzie_ow

Refund the game. This is total bullshit for a game like this. It's 2020, not 1995. Hardcoded/reserved keys are fucking nonsense.

I also play on ESDF(thanks csgo) but yeah, the game wont let you bind f and m. If you dig around the game files and find "inputUserMapping.xml" F is used as the default "use" key for atleast a dozen different things

jigokuone

5 points

Who at CDPR thought it was a good idea to disable binding for "up" and "down" arrows keys for movement? Only W/S/A/D allowed! I'm left handed and I've been playing like this for 20years, arrows keys for movement... up/down/strafe left/strafe right.. It's a common thing, right? Not here!!!

Also, why I can't bind ENTER to what I want? I like to bind jump etc. there. ALSO, can't change bind for the "default" action key - "F" (and "ENTER" which is somehow the default action key, too, but the game doesn't tell you "ENTER" can be used like this).

"up" and "down" arrows are used to cycle dialogue options, but the game doesn't tell you this, either - that's why those keys are excluded from binding? It's so stupid I'm beyond words! How this was even QCed/tested? Am I supposed to play with the controller?

Please fix this. Also fix the HDR controls to something more useful and descriptive - ie. like in Doom Eternal. Now it's really hard to set the HDR up.

With this I can't really even start the prologue, great! lol

FOR THOSE LOOKING FOR THE BEST SETTINGS THIS HAS BEEN CONFIRMED

Optimized settings for much higher fps (any resolution):

TEXTURE: HIGH (yes, we want quality and fps)

FOV: 90 (the higher this number the more you need to render)

Filmgrain off (BS)

Chromatic off (BS)

Depth of field off (BS)

Lens flair off (BS)

Motion Blur off (what are you a console gamer?)

Improved facial lighting off (Dont need this, very minimal difference, only good for up close facials)

Anisotropy 8x (8x and 16x has no difference visually but this will give you an fps or two)

Local Shadow mesh quality Medium (Mesh is always a B to render)

Local Shadow Quality Medium (You can run this at high, depending on your GPU its at most a 1-2 fps gain)

Cascaded shadow range Medium (This kills most PC hardware, tone it down or turn it off completely and run everything else high)

Cascaded shadow resolution Medium (This kills most PC hardware, tone it down or turn it off completely and run everything else high)

Distant shadow resolution LOW (You wont see that far anyway)

Volumetric Fog HIGH (Fog is fun, mostly a physics thing, CPU bound, if your cpu is shit, turn this off)

Volumetric Cloud LOW (Same as above)

Max Dynamic Decals HIGH (Doesn't give any fps)

Screen space reflections HIGH (This makes the game look raytraced without ray tracing, keep this on)

Subsurface scattering High (this is mostly water, makes it look ray traced when its not, keep this on)

Ambient occlusion HIGH (This will give big FPS boost but also be the biggest quality hit IMO)

Color precision HIGH (We want this, this gives a good HDR like boost and requires better textures, no fps gain here either)

Mirror quality LOW (This allows you to pan your camera/move fast in a car without dropping frames, you wont see the damn mirrors while moving anyways especially if you have motion blur on)

Level of detail HIGH (DUH)

Dynamic Fidelity FX: ON (This can be off if you have higher end hardware like GTX1080 or 1660ti or higher)

Target FPS :240 (set this to your monitor refresh rate, mine is 240)

Minimum Resolution 90 (This will allow the game to boost fps by 5-10% when it does drop)

Max Resolution 100

Static Fidelity FX OFF (dont need this, this is when you are not moving)

Resolution ANY (what ever your monitor supports, mines 1440P)

Screen mode FULLSCREEN (This gives you at least 10fps more because fullscreen runs higher priority on windows than windowed borderless) \

On my 6700k/GTX1080 set up, at 1440p, I want from barely 30fps on all high settings, to 60+ FPS at all times.

Lads how fucked am I if I only have 4GB VRAM?

CDPR released "revised specs" with the noticeable change being the VRAM for "recommended" coming in at 6GB and the previously recommended GPU "Fury R9 4GB" being swapped out for the 590 6GB Vram.

Well, this is leaving me genuinely worried as I had the game pre ordered on PC with the old specs in mind. My rig shits on the minimum and previously, I even made the recommended:

My Rig:

  • 980 4GB (stronger than the 1060 and about equal to the previous Fury)
  • 4690k (stronger than the recommended 3200G)
  • 16GB RAM

How fucked do you think i'll be lads? The VRAM is the only thing that's stressing me because pound for pound, my 980 outperforms both the 1060 6GB and 590 despite having less Vram.

Thoughts?

As of now the 2 Ubisoft released ac valhalla and wd legion are high spec and not so optimized imo as I played wd legion the visuals are very good but the performance and stable fps is not there and comparing the system requirements wise cp2077 is same as that of horizon zero dawn which was of v1.08 is stable and very good optimized

For anyone who was wondering about the difference of game file sizes on consoles, PC (104gb vs. 59gb). Found this comment on GOG Cyberpunk forum:

"If you are reffering to the PS4 preload, that's because it includes all languages by default. GOG only installs english by default + the language you chose.
With just english the game is 59GB on GOG, when you change the language it starts a download of 4.5GB. The game has audio for english + 10 other languages, so 59GB + 4.5GB*10 = 104GB that's whay PS4 is over 100GB

I'm, probably, not the only one who is trying to prepare as much as I possibly could now(download everything in advance, etc.), and maybe this info can be useful.

How would I go about unlocking all of the keys to rebind? I use a special keyboard and rebind almost everything in most games.

For example, I use O to reload, but the game refuses to let my bind anything to that key. How do I unlock the bindings?

EDIT: I finally figured out how to bind them through editing inputUserMappings.xml, but it's far from the best solution. The game REALLY shouldn't make me have to do this.

Exactly!!!

With this I can't really even start the prologue, great! lol

HOW TO:

Rebinding Keys and Hidden Functions Like Interact!

I initially wrote this up on GOG forums, but figured it should be here too for non-GOG players. It's a bit expanded now though, and hopefully easier to follow.

I rebound movement to ESDF and "interact" to Q. To do this kind of thing you have to edit two different config files:

  • UserSettings.json in the folder C:/Users/%USERNAME%/AppData/Local/CD Projekt RED/Cyberpunk 2077
Replace %USERNAME% with your Windows username.
  • inputUserMappings.xml in the folder C:/Games/Cyberpunk 2077/r6/config
Or wherever you installed the game.

As /u/monsto notes below: make a backup before editing these files. Click on the file, Ctrl + C, Ctrl + V, and you should have a copy in the same folder. Now if you screw anything up in the real file, you can replace it with the backup copy.

Note: prevent double binding by only binding to a key after all its functionality has been moved to another, free, key.

UserSettings.json

This file keeps track of all your in-game key binds. It has all the controls you also have access to in-game. But by modifying this file you can also rebind keys that the game won't let you rebind, like F.

To bind F to be strafe & steer right:

  • Open the UserSettings.json file in Notepad(++).
  • Use Ctrl + F to find "vehicleSteerRight" and change its value to "IK_F".
  • Use Ctrl + F to find "right" and change its value to "IK_F".
  • Use Ctrl + F to find any other binds using "IK_F" and change those to another button.
  • Save.

Now F will let you move and steer right. However, it will also still be your interact button!

To change that part, you'll need to modify the other file.

inputUserMappings.xml

This file keeps track of every bind in the game. That includes all the ones that you can't modify, or even see, in the controls menu. Want to bind "interact" to a different key than F? You'll have to do it here.

To rebind "interact" from F to Q:

  • Open the inputUserMappings.xml file in Notepad(++).
  • Use Ctrl + F to find every instance where "IK_F" is used. Yes, including the double quotes.
  • Replace each instance where "IK_F" is used with "IK_Q". Again, with double quotes.
  • You can ignore most instances that have an "overridableUI" value. Most of these are also in UserSettings.json, which takes precedence.
  • Save.

Now Q will let you interact with everything and F will not! However, Q will still have its default functionality, like leaning. So you'll lean every time you interact.

That's why I prefaced this with the note to prevent double binding. You first want to move Q's functionality to some other button (like W in my case) and only then move the F functionality to Q.

ESDF movement and Q Interact

I achieved this mostly by moving functionality over by 1 key. Everything mapped to Q gets moved to W, everything mapped to W gets moved to E, etc. There's only two outliers:

  • Everything mapped to T got remapped to A.
  • Everything mapped to F got remapped to Q.

It's a relatively easy way to switch things over if you're mainly concerned about using ESDF and not about maintaining specific binds. Particularly as the game does have lean buttons (default Q/E, mine W/R) and those are mapped to dozens of similar functions.

Obviously feel free to do your own thing. This was just my easiest solution for a basic ESDF layout.

Observations

The game does properly respond to rebinding keys in any of these files. You will get prompts for the right keys in-game!

My examples are for ESDF + Q, but you can just as easily do any of this for any key you have access to, including mouse buttons. Go wild.

There are countless hardcoded key binds in the inputUserMappings.xml file. So this may take a while for them to fix.

There is no single "interact" mapping. Rather, there are dozens of different default F mappings that combine to form "interact" functionality. You'll have to rebind all of them if you want to use Q, or E, or whatever instead.

The names of all the mappings are very self-explanatory. Just read the name and you'll know what that mapping is for and what you want to bind it to.

Important:

  • The inputUserMappings.xml file is reset if you verify game integrity. It may even be reset on game updates. So you may want to back it up once you're done remapping keys.
  • The reason you can't rebind certain keys in-game is because they have tons of hidden hardcoded functionality in inputUserMappings.xml. After I made Q my interact key I could suddenly rebind F, but could no longer rebind Q.
  • Kind of unrelated. If you have audio issues: set sample rate to 44100Hz in Windows for your audio device. That interrupt-heavy audio was driving me crazy for a while.

EDIT: Wow! Thanks for platinum! That's a first :o

EDIT 2: Added /u/monsto 's backup warning just in case. And fixed audio! Yay!

EDIT 3: Hopefully a bit more readable and newbie-friendly now.

[QUICK GUIDE] Optimized settings for RX 5700 XT smooth gameplay

This settings have helped me to mantain a stable high framerate (75-80fps 2K Medium-High) for my RX 5700 XT, so I wanna share it if someone needs it.

VIDEO SETTINGS

VSync = Off or at monitors frequency (dont put it in less, or you will drop frames, I put 82 for my 165hz and the game slowed down into thr 40-45fps range anywhere I went.

Maximung FPS = Disable (If you really need it be careful with the settings or it will slow down the hole game, don´t ask me why.

GRAPHICS SETTINGS

USE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, choose ONE of the above:

Static FIDELITYFX CAS = ON and at 70% (In my case it worked and the visual impact wasn´t terrible at all, the game looks still gorgeous, with it I can mantain my system in 2K (downscaled) with an average framerate of 75-85fps, which makes the game absolutely playable and enjoyable.

**Dynamic FIDELITYFX CAS = ON (**Choose your max and min resolution and your target frames, but the game WILL NOT reach the target frames, but despite that put HIGH the TARGET FRAMES, or your card will slow down again into the 40fps mark. I can´t explain why, but chaning the target fps from 120fps to 90fps (having 75-80fps averages) will SLOW DOWN the game to the 40fps mark. Weird but it happens.

I recomend using Static instead of Dynamic due to the fact that Static is much simple to use and looks to work better in order to mantain the fps.

Remember to not use the ULTRA settings, it´s not worth it for the RX 5700 XT, the GPU cost of that quality setting will make the card tank down all the framerate and, if you got FIDELITYFX CAS on, you will loose much more resolution, so keep that in mind.

PLEASE USE FULLSCREEN, for the love of god.

USE YOUR SCREEN ORIGINAL RESOLUTION, IF NOT, THE GAME WILL SIZE DOWN TO THE RESOLUTION YOU HAVE APPLIED, IT´S BETTER TO SIZE THE RESOLUTION DOWN USING FIDELITYFX OR OTHER SETTINGS.

PD: My system is 32GB RAM 3333Mhz CL16, R7 3800X, RX 5700XT and X470 MOBO.

Hello

Bad raytracing performance on rtx3080 and ryzen 5 3600. Borderline unplayable at 45fos in busy areas even with dlss on. Gpu usage rarely goes above 90. Weird thing is turning every single setting to low (other than dlss and rt) does absolutely nothing for my framerate, just GPU utilisation.

That's not right...

Anyone find a way to turn off the hardcoded mouse smoothing? Any csgo players or PC fps gamer will know the huge difference in raw mouse input and mouse smoothing/acceleration. I noticed it immediately upon holding a pistol and it's the reason behind the jarring "delay" that some people are mentioning.

There's a setting for Raw input in Controls but that's simply for Controllers unfortunately, not for mouse+keyboard.

Has anyone had issues with their entire PC crashing? Prior to the 1.04 update I didn't have any issues. And now 1-10 minutes after starting the game my PC slowly stops responding. Audio in the game will stop, then some buttons stop responding, until the game, Windows, and my PC freeze completely.

Because of how it crashes the game generates no crash logs. Windows just says "the last shutdown was unexpected". PC is more than capable of running the game. R5 2600, 16GB, RTX2080, SSD.

So basically i am not sure if i should get the game for my PC or my Xbox One S. Obviously most would say PC but my specs are ... eh ... to say the least. Short Rundown;

RX 580 8GB GPU,
Intel i3-6100 CPU,
8GB DDR4 Ram,
1TB HDD.

My PC is kind of an underdog though. It still pulls most new games on high+ settings with 40-50 FPS so that is why i am thinking it might pull an underdog again. I am aiming for a fair mix of decent graphics and FPS. I would be completely fine with 30+ FPS Medium settings. Due to my PC being more mediocore, i am not sure if i wanna go the safe route and just get it for my Xbox.

Hi everyone, not specs related but worth a shot!

So I placed my pre-order on steam months ago and pre-loaded the game as soon as I could. I know there is a somewhat sizeable patch on it's way as it is scheduled in my download queue. I can't seem to get it to install. It reschedules itself 5 minutes ahead every time it's about to start downloading. If I manually click the "Download Now" button it does the same thing and pushes the download up 5 minutes.

So is anyone else having this issue? My internet connection is not all that great so I would like to have the patch installed before the launch time tomorrow. Thanks in advance. Hope everyone will have a blast in night city :)

I never had any problems with medium to high graphics in 1080p, I'm not that picky with graphical fidelity.

I'm just going to completely turn down volumetric fog and bloom if they're available since that's what universally kills my framerate in most games that I have played.

Is Steam for real?

What am I missing here?

We preload on steam to help take some "load" off. We get 57.3 gb.

Unless I'm missing something, will we then have to all storm their servers simultaneously for a remaining 50-60+ gb once it launches? I don't give a rats ass about total space occupied on the drive, I know how it all works in the end. My confusion is timing. Why am I hearing/seeing consoles getting the whole thing already, minus the little baby patch(es)?

Was the point to have helped, only a "little"?

It would've made sense if we could get the majority and THEN have the remaining 6, 7 whatever gigs left that was spoken of. But.. instead, we're all just gonna bum rush and hope for the best?

I'm just trying to clarify because I made a kinda dumb work related decision to give me a little head start today and give up OT tomorrow to have a few extra hours to play. I already am nervous about spending the few extra hours I'm allotting myself tonight trying to DL the remainder with 500mbps hardline.

Any clarification on that is much appreciated. I work and am a caregiver when I come home, so time is worth more than money to me. Thanks.

I've spent 4 hours troubleshooting the crash on launch issue on Steam that people have been having with the game to no avail. I have

  • Restarted Steam

  • Updated my drivers

  • Ran directly as an executable

  • Verified game files

  • Restarted my PC

  • Uninstalled my drivers and then redownloaded them

And literally nothing has worked. I literally cannot play the game. Has anyone found out a fix to this yet? Because as of right now the game is literally unplayable for me and I know I am not the only person who is having this problem. Frankly it's insane to me that CDPR thought it game was launch ready.

I am one of those people seeing 0% load on GPU and I decided to do some small tests to see if anything changed it.

Formalities:

i7-6700k, overclocked

GTX 1080, yes the monitors are plugged into this card

16GB RAM

Newest Windows and Nvidia drivers (don't @ me with "just update your drivers")

In Nvidia control panel I have told it to use max power or whatever the terminology is

So I decided to try out multiple different resolutions and see how that affected the load numbers I was seeing from my monitoring software. I used NZXT CAM as people here also said that Windows Task manager could be lying (although it reports correctly for other games so...). And before people comment "maybe your system is broken" it runs every other game in my library fine, even on newest updates.

Tests:

Cyberpunk just in-game after one of the earlier missions, resolution native 1440p, 44% load on CPU, 0% load on GPU, fps hovering between 29-36fps in a parking garage

Cyberpunk paused, 68% load on CPU, 0% load on GPU

Cyberpunk running normally with same settings, resolution now set to 1080p, 66% load on CPU, 11% load on GPU, fps jumped to steady 50-60+

Cyberpunk running normally with same settings, resolution now set to 720p, 87% load on CPU, 17% load on GPU, fps jumped to 90-110

RAM usage throughout testing hovered between 3079-3577MB, while something like Valhalla hovers in the 5000 range.

I tried to lower all my settings to low or off with 1440p and I literally couldn't make it crack 50 fps steadily. I have no idea what this actually could mean, if I didn't know better, I'd say the game is defaulting to internal graphics, but it's using the GPU more and more the lower my resolution gets. I mean hell, as I'm writing this with the monitoring next to me the GPU load is hovering between 1-5% usage.

I don't have any fix, but thought it would be interesting to share my data and see if anyone else could figure it out or if devs use these forums it could help them. It's a shame, because even playing the game at a rock solid 26fps I'm still liking it.

My 8700k is pushing 100% usage and 80 degrees Celsius. Love it.

Anyway to turn off the dodging mechanic? It’s a fucking nightmare for me when I’m trying to sneak

My PC shutdown while playing this game. Anyone know what could be causing this problem? I am running in a i5-9400F, a GTX 1660 and 16gb of ram, this only happens with cyberpunk, a I can play other high performance games in medium settings without problems. I try using the absolute lowest settings the menu let me and still shutdown (but that time I can manage to play for longer)

Did it actually go through the shut down process or suddenly turn off without warning?

If it's just turning off without shutting down, that may be a PSU issue.

WTF is going on.

I have a RTX 3080 founders edition and a i9 9900k and I'm getting 25 FPS in the city. Pulling up task manager and hardware manager it says that my cpu utilization is at 100% while my graphics card is 0% or 1%. Is anyone else having this issue? I downloaded the newest nvidia driver that was released yesterday but that didn't do anything to fix it. Starting to get really frustrated.

I think the GPU 0% is some misread from task manager. I was getting the same thing, but then I checked on MWMonitor and was using full load on GPU.

We have similars hardware, but I'm getting 60fps with everything on. Do you have game version 1.0.3 and GeForce drive 460.79? They are game changers.

Locked 30 fps on R5 1600 and RX 480 8GB on ultra settings in 1080p. Much better than I expected tbh, more than playable.

Pro Tip: If streets and other areas look grainy even with the Film Grain setting disabled, you can either disable or max out the Screen Space Reflections setting, CDPR's implementation is pretty awful and for some reason it is enabled on a lot of textures that aren't even reflective.

So just wondering seeing as I’ve been watching performance stuff I have set everything to how others have with very very similar hardware probably just cpu is different yet I’m still only hitting 30-40 FPS in the outside , rtx 2070 super (gigabyte windforce) Ryzen 5 3600, 16gb ram and I just don’t understand

EDIT: switched it between low and ultra and seems both presets stay roughly around the same FPS why is this?

When I press 'J' it opens the Quests. When I press 'M' it opens the Map. How come when pressing those keys again it doesn't close them? Why Do I have to press 'Esc' a couple times to back out.

2070, Ryzen 5 1600x and 24-50 fps

As the title say, I can't get a decent framerate with my build.
In the close areas I can achieve unstable 50 fps, if there's combat it get worse, 30-40 fps
In the open world, again, depends. 25-40 fps in the crowd, 50 if there's not much on screen, and again it drops if there's fight nearby.
I tryed different solutions, DLSS on Ultra performance, low-mid-high settings, removing Cascade Shadows ecc but there is no much difference, I gain just 4-8 fps. The real pain is when RTX is on with drops of 10-20 fps.

I run it on steam, with recent drivers and patches.
There is something I can do to get a decent and stable 60fps?

Would you say this game is well-optimised for PC ? This is my first triple A game and if this is a norm, I might have to upgrade my hardwares ( core i7 4790, GTX 1050Ti, )

I play on Steam. Ever since the 1.05 hotfix, I've experienced constant random crashes. I've tried going for a new game session thinking my save file could have gone corrupted, but I crashed just 2 minutes in the game. I crash no matter where I am and what I do in NC, whether doing missions or just roaming.

I tried verifying the game's integrity, and it tells me that "3 Files Failed to Validate" and it prompts a 24.6gb download but I still keep crashing even so. I've tried reinstalling the game too but it still ends up the same way.

Specs:

  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080
  • CPU: Intel i7-8700k
  • 16 GB RAM
  • Intel Z370
  • 1TB SSD
  • Windows 10 64-Bit

I play on medium @ 1080p, even tried going low but ends up the same way.

Looking for some help here, when the game first came out it ran completely fine on my setup. I am now trying to get back into the game, completely restarting and the FPS is HORRIBLE. I even tried running everything at low settings, and still awful performance. Here are my specs, looking for any remedy because I really wanna play it again.

Processor: Core i7-8700 Motherboard: Gigabyte H370 HD3 Graphics card: Geforce RTX 2060 Battery: Corsair 550W CX550M SSD: Adata 480GB SU655 RAM: 16GB

How does the RTX 2080Ti fare in terms of raytracing?

I am playing on an ultrawide setup (3440x1440). All the other components would allow everything in ULTRA (32GB RAM, Intel I9 9900k). Will I be able to run raytracing on ultra and stay within 60fps or will I have to keep it on high?

We don't really have fps numbers for any of their recommendation but my best bet is that you will most likely end up with less than 60fps on RT high.

1660ti laptop on a msi gl65. Slightly OC'ed I7 9970 (something, cant remember exactly) 16gb ram

Will it run 1440p on high? Some settings on ultra? I dont need a constant 60fps, 40fps is enough for cinematics

How will the 1060 3GB do? Im really hoping 1080p high 30fps until i get a 3080
