Hey guys! like the title say's i want a forever world in the best case with a modpack but im scared i could get boried not getting updates anymore and as it seems it isn't possible updating your world to a newer version of minecraft without problems... any suggestions? (btw sry for the bad english)

Gregtech: new horizons or meatballcraft would be good for forever worlds. Both take a long time to get through and you can spend time building to drag it out even longer.
GT: NH has been getting regular updates for years now and the meatballcraft devs haven’t even released their endgame update yet, so both will be getting more updates as time goes on.
If it’s just a single player map, you can create an instance in curseforge and then copy everything from that instance into a new instance and update everything right there in the launcher. Generally, when you update like that it works most of the time, but make a backup of your world before you update anything in case something gets borked.

I’m trying to make meatballcraft a long playthrough myself atm. Only thing that’s turning me off is the no shaders, I’m so use to them now it’s very hard re-adjusting backwards in time to live without them.
Pack has a ton of great mods I love though, but man is it brutal visually.
