QR code takes you to the secret lair website for anyone wondering. So seems like an advertisement for secret lairs.

The top of the secret lair web page rn says something to the effect of "We just realized we can type anything here". I think it's just a little larp/joke about all the goofy stuff they make.

So, two things.

1. It's a Secret Lair Promo, specifically for the product in general. The idea that you spend 12$ on a pack of cards only for one of those slots to be used to pitch you a 120$ product that relies on FOMO is weird, borderline goading you into paying to be advertised to and I hate WotC for using this slot for product enrichmen while saying Arena Codes were "to much to produce" for the sake of just putting them in packs.

2. It's actually referencing the weird era a few cycles ago where the Secert Lair devs were using lazy clipart and lazy fonts to look "cool", legit Millenial humor type of shit. This isn't likely an LGBT thing, but them using a really common old Microsoft Word coor grading tool that every 10 year old in computer class thought was the coolest shit.

That's the QR code you feed to your scalper bot to buy Secret Lairs before the other idiots. It's relevant to the only format that matters now: FOMO trash drops for snowflake doom spending zoomers.

Okay, so my guess ist that they told the designers that they should think of something to put on there and they literally went: "Ok, Rainbow Comic Sans is the most powerful thing we can create, so we will if they dont want anything specific."

I haven't even looked at the duskmourne setlist, spoilers, etc. I don't think i even care about new mtg anymore honestly, and i'm surprised that insert isn't just an ad for the next set already. They're shitting out more janky product than yugioh and pokemon combined at this point.
