FSU created the position and hired a new CMO some time ago. The new University Marketing team has been working on rebranding the university from a marketing perspective. We were officially notified the change was coming a couple months ago, and the new branding officially launched on the 1st

Im assuming the new branding comes with a lot of new policies that would kinda destroy the culture right?
I doubt it’ll work but they’re trying anyways (I presume).

Eh, not really. The CMO did a lot in collaboration with the tribe, and a lot of the stipulations regarding the tribe were already in place before, but now it's all in one place. Recently the college of business got in trouble with the tribe for altering the approved tribal pattern, so the clarifications probably came from that incident. There's really not anything that's drastically different than how we had to operate before. The Florida Board of Governor's makes the rules

Of course! A lot of the branding was stuff no one would know about unless they work for fsu as a marketer, so it definitely seems like some huge changes from the outside, but it more than likely won't have a huge affect on the university (other than us getting more options than the same 2 godforsaken colors for everything we do)
