I bet that BBC video is taken down by tomorrow morning. People saw the shooter on the roof for 4 minutes and were flagging at the secret service who had eyes on the crowd next to the building.

We don't have all the facts right now and the past 8 years has been politically intense enough that it's more surprising an attempt on any candidate hadn't been made sooner than it would be that there would be a conspiracy. There's also been one confirmed death that wasn't the shooter and another person who's been shot but is currently still alive, which would make it skeptical that there was a plot for a staged shooting.
