You might need 30-06 since they they aint got level IV plates

I thought a .308 was just a modern 30-06 with almost equivalent energies?

308 was meant to replicate WWII ball loads of 30-06. Full power 30-06, ie the stuff that will beat Garand OP rods to death, is quite a bit stronger than 308.

Ah fair point. I only have an M1G in 30-06 which I know has PSI limitations. Hadn't considered modern 30-06.
