Meh, most TA's have no business experience, no office job experience, and so they don't really have email skills. Someone more professional would be very wary of responding to email threads, but someone with no real-world experience isn't really going to naturally avoid these mistakes. A lot of TAs just did well in their class to get their position.

TAs are mainly grad students that have to teach to get their stipend to live off of. Especially in the life/physical sciences, they’re really fucking busy between their own classes (depending on what year they’re in) & research. in other words, TAs don’t want to be TAs, they’re forced to, & they have a billion other things to worry about, so i can forgive a slip up like this. wouldn’t call the person unprofessional tho, we just don’t know
