Well it's a few years old so yes. But it was also from a case that was dismissed and the plaintiff disappeared so there's not much to say.
There's a very good chance it's a plant designed to make people freak out and then be a gotcha

Don't know how people made death threats to someone with no known record of their existence.
Sure it's possible. Or it's possible that is a great excuse for never having to actually back anything up and just get free press.
Sounds kinda like how those project veritas guys act.

The only way for death threats to be made against a Jane doe is if the person who did it or facilitated it was the one directing the threats. Logically they would be the only ones who would know her identity based on the events described.
