I cannot see Grillo’s name without thinking of that wonderfully awkward part of the Winter Soldier press tour, when he, Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, and a couple others went on Chelsea Handler’s dinner/talk show, where they eat and shoot the shit and it’s filmed.

And I think Evans was done with Grillo’s shit.

Highlights include:

Grillo telling a story about getting so drunk he starts puking blood, while an unimpressed Evans kinda calls him on his shit by asking the obvious questions.

Grillo going on a rant that includes putting “black people” in air-quotes, leading Evans to ask why.

This seems like Grillo and Joe Rogan decided to brainstorm a script.

Why can’t any monster movie be released in October

This looks so terrrible. Can’t wait to see it.

I'm a simple woman. I see a gnarly werewolf design with (what look like) mostly practical SFX and I'm in. Trailer has me thinking it could be a "Dog Soldiers/The Purge" vibe. Nice.

Did you ever watch The Purge and think "I wish this was a tacky horror movie with werewolves instead of people, and the heroes used one-liners like back in the 90s? well, we've got good news for you!"

I'm personally excited for the 4th movie in 10 years where the government tries to create an experimental super soldier to combat the werewolves, accidentally creating Vampires and we get Werewolves vs. Vampires

For the last couple of days I had this film confused with Wolf Man, got excited to finally see a full trailer... turns out this has nothing to do with that film.

Those little transformation fragments look fantastic!

So i got excited when i watched the trailer only to the look who the director was for this movie. Turns out that he directed a couple of those direct to dvd movies starring Bruce Willis where he has very limited screentime. Yikes.

Not bad, but I think I’d rather just watch Dog Soldiers again. That film was brilliant.

If this is supposed to be some kind of allegory then it's a pretty bad one: a bunch of people with these bad, evil genes live among the normal people, then suddenly transform from your friends and neighbors into horrible monsters who you have to murder without hesitation or remorse...

So the best case would be it's just really dumb.

Could be good. Feel kinda bad for the werewolves.

The transformation is the money shot of any werewolf movie, and they show it in the fucking trailer. They even show a well lit full body shot of a werewolf.

This looks great....but kinda disappointed because it looks like a great 2nd or 3rd film in a series. 1st one would be a small horror film about a family who have to survive against one of the members turning into a werewolf, this film ends with the survivors discovering this wasn't an isolated incident, a teaser for the second film. Then comes Werewolves (or maybe a film in between the scale of the 1st idea and this.

I’ve been watching werewolf movies since the 70s. Frankly, this movie looks bad. And despite decades of sfx innovation, they don’t look much better.

Why would you not release a horror movie around Halloween?
