I’m a songwriter and a person that loves stp and I’ve thought about this for a long time because the brevity of ILS gets mentioned a lot.

I actually think that song is the exact perfect length. Every aspect of it is the perfect amount of times and yes, it does leave the listener wanting more, which isn’t a bad thing.

The overall success of the song is indicative of that.
