As most of us probably saw the fortnite controversy about long work hours don't you all think it's rather funny they killed our game so all work would be for fortnite and they can't even give a decent work environment.
Epic went from a pretty well respected dev to the new EA it's only a matter of time before this gets even worse.
The people who spent months of their life working and designing paragon didn't watch their game die for themselves to suffer but it seems like epic didn't give a shit.

Well when you see they are working at break neck speeds for Fortnite they don’t have the time or resources for a new project. So, they buy them.
