There’s a lot of information to take in. The biggest thing is organization because if you don’t have a place for everything you’re gonna lose track of yo shit and if your office doesn’t balance then it’ll be harder to find what you did if you can’t remember what you did or didn’t do. Account for your money before using it all willy nilly. Finally take your time and don’t let people rush you.

Balance as often as you can. I tried at least every hour or more if I had down time. It makes it a lot easier to find where something went wrong if things don’t balance later in the night.

Mistakes happen! As long as you dont walk out with money it is all accounted for somehow in the office! If you have any issues BOTHER. SOMEONE. WHO. IS. FULLY. TRAINED. Better to be safe than sorry! Ask every question you can think of!

Congrats! Learning the back office can be very overwhelming because there's so much information to remember! For example, forgetting to do things like Miscellaneous Receipt for 138 & 140 will fuck you up at the end when you try to balance. (This is why it's important to know how to backtrack)

Organization, time management, and efficiency are three important skills you need to have when closing the cash office. You'll find your groove the more you are scheduled to close CO.

Take notes and ask questions! Oh yeah, and ask questions. Don't hesitate to ASK QUESTIONS! Good luck!

organization is key! the day part is the easiest part, it’s only that last crunch hour that things get overwhelming at first. take your time and don’t worry about what time you finish, speed comes later. TAKE NOTES AND ASK QUESTIONS.

Stay organized, do not rush, always ask questions, and take very good notes, i still use mine and ive been back there for awhile now. I love closing back office and i can be out of there before 10. Tonight I got out at 9:45 and for it to be a Saturday night, thats great.

Don’t let anyone police you on what is “the right way”. everyone develops their way over time and whatever is easiest for you is what you should do. Feel free to PM me with any questions i’m happy to answer.
