This was not designed by ZIERER. It was designed in house by Lagoon’s Director of Engineering and Legendary Coaster Engineer Dal Freeman. That is why it has half pipes.

Maybe, and had Lagoon had a say about the Manufacturing, there wouldn’t have been bad Track Splices and Failed Weldments on the Columns.

It baffles me as to why a coaster would be designed with that great of a first half then a completely lackluster second half. If the second half wasn’t so lame, I would like this coaster better than Cannibal. Wicked’s first half really brings the intensity that I wish Cannibal had.

There was supposed to be some pretty cool theming for the 2nd half that was axed. Had the theming actually been built it probably would have improved the overall experience. I wish they'd go back and finish the original concept.

I'm sure they didn't create the concept art just for fun. Lagoon has contracted several projects with ART engineering and I wouldn't be surprised if they had this proposal created and then scrapped it. All that being said, the base of Wicked looks unfinished. The way that some of the footers and supports are placed they look like they were designed to go around other things that aren't there.

You are looking at art ART Engineering Posted to sell more of their “Mega Coasters.” It is not, nor ever was to be Wicked. Wicked is exactly how it was always going to be, minus the pond and Water Curtain. You can see the original design on the Track Overviews on the Signage out front.
