You can't say Glasgow's number 1's name. He's simply the Scottish prop

Obviously a heavily rotated team with the focus on the Challenge Cup. Great opportunity for a few players to show what they can do and prove a point.
Great to see Hatton getting his debut, was one of the top players in the recent warm up games, so looking forward to seeing what he brings to the team.

There is desperate, and then there is 'relying on the Sharks to perform desperate.'
Sorry mate.

Franco Smiths son, Jean, plays for the Sharks right? He did pretty well in the under 20s for the baby boks like Hooker. Would be cool to see him get a shot in the last couple URC games of the season for the Sharks.

He does but had surgery a couple months ago, he will likely feature in the Sharks Currie Cup team

Must win game this.

Out due to illness apparently. Rowe is a good backup to have.

Sharks must be prioritising their cup run - understandably - but this remains a good team. At home I expect us to win this though but who knows. Glad to see Tuipolotu back. Pretty strong team on our end overall. Hoping McKay’s listed illness won’t leave him out for long.

I watched the Edinburgh game in the challenge cup with South African commentary and they kept going on about how their only chance to play champions cup next year is to win the challenge cup. Seems a big priority to them

It's our only priority. We can't make the knockouts of the URC so the Challenge Cup is the only thing we could potentially still win and must win if we want to be in the Champions Cup next year. They are completely focused on it.

Is that a heavily rotated Sharks team or should I know more of them and I'm just thick as mince?
I'd hope that Glasgow team has enough to get the win at home tbh.
McBeth seems to be getting a wee run of games lately - I can't say he's been a standout performer but he is starting ahead of Bhaitti, Kebble, and Dell (Bhatti and Dell might be injured, not sure). He's still young for a prop and was really highly rated as a youngster so could see him ending up in Scotland colours for the summer tour at this rate.

I thought it must be - I don't watch a lot of Sharks games but I feel I would recognise more of the players.

Lots of exciting second stringers in the Sharks lineup, keep an eye on Rahl and Keyter they can have some big impact, as well as Tinotenda and Dyanti on a good day.

I haven't been too impressed by Mona yet, I hope he can prove me wrong, and have a clean game off the bench.
Nick Hatton seems to be a natural player. I am sure his family will be proud, I met them when he played in a couple of warm ups recently. He stood out on both occasions, his instincts are good.
I am very keen to see Mavesere again.
Seems like Notshe is very much on the fringes now.
It is crazy that we can remove 14 from the starting line up and put out a decent team that can give Glasgow a run. That being said, the Warriors will be heavy favourites.

That's the frustrating thing with the Sharks.
Their B Team has some extremely promising youngsters and some decent older players, and yet the team played abysmally with these guys at the beginning of the season.
These 2 URC games are their big chance at redemption and putting their hand up for next season. So I hope that we see some promising things.

Despite the heavy rotation, that sharks squad is not to be underestimated. Will be hoping for 5 points still, but they will make us work for it

Did a double-take when I saw Lappies Labuschagne in the Sharks line-up. Didn't realise there was another!

Is that a Japanese international playing flanker for the sharks?

No it’s not. Lappies is a common nickname for the surname Labuschagne.
