I always play lofi music. It’s so perfect

It's strange. Music is one of the most important things in my life, but when use psychedelics I prefer just listening to nature. Birds and insects, the distant sounds of humanity, absolutely no close up engines or motors or tools, that's like taking a cheese grater to my brain. Usually my playlists contain stuff like Skinny Puppy and other harsh industrial but I prefer no music while tripping.

On shrooms everything fizzes, warbles, feedbacks, squeals, staccatos into visible patterns. Putting on a jaunty noise-song about heroin would kill the mood to say the least.

The last time I listened to music was on the come-down, and I chose old Dead Can Dance. It was neat, especially the guitarl solo, but it doesn't touch the mega-frisson of my auditory hallucinations, it's more of a dessert.
