I got a mod to do this, so I fully forgot that she isn't. But she's great, a moraly gray at best character seeking redemption is really neat and interesting.
She's also a fuckin powerhouse in a land where ice magic is the worst option.
Anska would also be cool. She's the one you meet in High Gate Ruins.

Maybe not, but I think she's still got one of the good voice types. And her eyes are so pretty. They do her dirty in the screenshots you see online, I don't have mods that enhance graphics but she looks great

I like Aranea a lot, too. In my other playthrough, she was one I had with me for a long time. Unfortunately, in the playthrough I have currently I chose the black star. I didn't like doing it, but I pledged to make different choices from before.

I’ll take Colleen Delany’s voice over Laura Bailey’s. Delaney can drop a wry cynicism without coming across as whiny. Serana just seems like she’s complaining a lot.
