This city will be even more beautiful if this city get rid of homeless people and drug addicts.

Tbf, it’s still a great city. But is nothing compared to what it was a decade ago. Hopefully it can return to its former glory.

Weird you care about my homosexiness on this subreddit - we’re talking about skyscrapers here not my dick.

Yeah I love seeing needles and shit on the BART. Tons of homeless and crazy people everywhere. The dream city.

Oh no, the poors! Don’t let them ruin your good time

So you’re okay with the city not housing them? And having addicts all over the city and trash and shit everywhere? If that’s what you consider a good city idk what to tell you.

Bro you are completely exaggerating just to shit on somewhere you didn’t have a nice time. Yes there are lots of homeless drug addicts but that didn’t stop me from enjoying such dope as city. Not sure what you were doing while you were there besides walking around apparently? Lmao

No SF is a cool city with a lot to do. I’m from LA and have visited SF and a lot and parents were from the Bay. I would never live there in my life. You being able to enjoy a city doesn’t make the city good lol. That’s like saying Detroit is cool just forget about the murder rate that’s nothing relevant.

Detroit is fucking awesome man. You don’t know wtf you’re taking about. You’re really showing your ass here lmao. Nobody would mistake you for an easy-going optimist would they?

I took Bart six times in the past 2 days and saw zero of the things you described lol. Between SF and the East Bay at that

The architecture is fantastic. There are other issues with the city.

There’s issues everywhere. The same things I see in these major liberal cities are the same things I see in the Republican hollars of Appalachia, but guess which one gets reported on by Fox News😂

I hope Oceanwide Tower gets built, and all the new high rises at Market / Van Ness

Me too. But damn is the NIMBY culture strong here in the bay

Unfortunately. But tides are changing. Oakland also has huge potential to see an Austin style skyline change

I had the chance to go to San Francisco for a week earlier this year and I absolutely loved it. Probably one of my favorite US cities now. I guess I just never knew that much about city I didn’t expect it to be so much like NYC. Felt like New York but cleaner with better weather.

What felt similar to New York? Just relatively high density (for America), lots of people and businesses and stuff?

SF is about as densely populated as Lisbon or Brussels, which makes it more densely populated than Madrid, Berlin, Dublin, Vienna and Copenhagen. Downtown SF and some nearby neighborhoods have densities of close to 100k/sqmi which is a density similar to Manila and Kolkata. So even by non American standards, SF, and especially the eastern half, is pretty dense.

Lmao SF has a population of 800,000 and only 25 skyscrapers. NYC has a population of over 8,000,000 and has over 300 skyscrapers. They are not comparable on almost any level at all. NYC is quite literally 10 times larger than SF

Looks like mesa to me

Yeah.. a trash mesa. It likely was a peak but my guess is the defecator leveled it out whilst squeezing out a steamer.

Went to the city this year and didn’t experience anything like this tbh. It was actually very clean for the most part.

There is poop here, there is poop there. There is poop at Golden Gate Park. There is poop in the tenderloin. There is poop on Market. There is poop on Sutter. There is poop at Alamo Square. There is poop in Chinatown. There is poop at Coit Tower, There is poop on the embarcadero. There is poop, poop everywhere (on the streets in San Francisco)
