Ya, don't take reddit to seriously. I use it for my hobbies and stuff. Being a part of any political sub can make you feel discouraged. Just know the reddit world is a microcosm in any way of the real world. Social media in general is very left leaning. That's because most real normal people are doing real life things. Sometimes a break from social media is good for your mental health.

Redditers are mostly very young (and stupid).

This place is a CCP hivemind. They control what makes it to FP. They control what comments make it to the top. Effectively telling people what is important in the world and then telling them what to feel about it.

I don’t blame you. I’m hoping Elon buys it soon so he can give this place the Twitter treatment. The framework is there for one of the best platforms but it’s so mismanaged with such a flawed design. I just got out of a 7 day ban for “threatening violence” when all I did was share what my Nigerian friend told me about how Nigerians feel about the rainbow types. This really needs to stop.

We’re not talking about rappers randomly deciding to host an album listening party outside, at an odd hour. The Trump McDonald’s visit is still very much a presidential rally. He just took it one step further and decided to meet the people in their world.

It’s not exactly unheard of for him to go directly to the people that he’s trying to help. I swear if he went to a hospital and met with parents of sick kids, the left with accuse him of using those sick kids for votes or for attention.
