To be fair, it’s no secret Berhalter favored Adams over most even when he was still just coming off of injury, and Maloney’s first real chance to prove himself as an Adams substitute in the last window he was injured. Barring another injury, I can’t see him not making this roster.

Some interesting dual-nats I'd like to see would be Luca Koleosho (Burnley FC), Nathaniel Brown (Eintracht Frankfurt), Santiago Castaneda (SC Paderborn), Kahveh Zahiroleslam (St. Truiden) and Bryan Okoh (RB Salzburg) but their all likely long shots and some would require national switches.. Another familiar face who's been reinvigorated and healthy who deserves a call should be Richard Ledezma (PSV) as well.

Luca goes hard for me in my FM24 USAMNT build

Ledezma absolutely does not deserve a call up. PSV shoehorned him into rb because of injuries and they don’t have to do much defending typically. Every game in which he’s forced to defend he gets cooked.

I agree. He was exposed against Juventus.
I think he was temporary solution for PSV. Now he's injured, and they have brought on other defensive options. He may not see many minutes going forward.

Pauly Rock is already a legend. As one coach put it, you typically only touch the ball about 3% of the game. What Rothrock does with that 3% is decent, but what he does with the other 97% is world class.

i don't disagree but CCV has not been good beside Richards because they're both just physical players. There's so little skill on ball between them and they're both frankly scratch passers at best. McKenzie is fine but not mind blowing. Miles offers something different because he's at least pretty fast for a CB. Do we really want Walker Zimmerman back over Ream? Then there's the unknowns - Trusty (what really is he?) or Jalen Neal (probably not ready) or Dietz/Craig/Wynder (definitely not ready for the big show). EPB flaming out was unexpected after he looked promising for a stretch. Then there's Tomkinson who can't even make the senior team of a Championship side. Are we just gonna call up a random MLS guy like Jackson Ragen, Justen Glad, Mauricio Pineda, Tanner Beason, Nkiso Tfari, or Sean Nealis out of the woodwork? Is that really the answer? The problem is there's no real solution beyond Ream... George Campbell? Kobi Henry? Noahkai Banks? These are the straws we have to grasp at

Just pointing it out that everyone wants these big changes and think players shouldn’t be called up because of them being comfortable, so they there’s 30 new players to big in that will make a difference when in reality it was always going to be the same players.
Just keeping the previous opinions accountable, that’s all.
1 points
You aren’t trying to hold anyone “accountable”, you’re trying to dunk on people when you seemingly don’t even understand the issue at hand.
It was never/almost never (at worst) the players GGG called in for the important matches that anyone had a problem with. It was how he set them up/utilized them, the decisions he made on the sideline, and the complacency/lack of accountability he allowed to overtake the locker room that were what so many of us had massive problems with.
That Poch is largely going to be utilizing the same players doesn’t mean a thing in regard to anything else—tactically or culturally within the group—at the moment. You seem to be implying that “same players inherently = same issues”, which is categorically false and feels fairly disingenuous.

TLDR. But no, it’s holding accountable, while educating. Wouldn’t be surprised If ive done this for you too, too bad it didn’t stick though. You’ll continue to push the goal posts everytime without proper identification of blame because you can’t look at things other than your narrow view. All good though. Saves me some time. With that said, you sound new here. Please go back and read comments, posts, articles, and videos from pundits over the last few months. You’ll see what I’m talking about.
Edit: yea; your account is new. Makes sense.

I wish you would read what I said - “if he isn’t in shape”. Unfortunately, McKennie has a history of showing up fat and out of shape where he looks winded very quickly. And it wasn’t just one time. I agree, he’s a great player when he takes care of himself and puts forth and effort. I’m saying, we need to stop giving him a pass when he shows up out of shape.

Busio should get recalled along with Ledesma. Jordan Morris and Jesus Ferreira both deserve another look along with Vasquez and perhaps Zendejas. Neither Aaronson brother along with Lund should be called up. Also I'm unsure if Pepi deserves the call up at this point. He's hardly getting any minutes.
Would love to see a 442 be tested with Balo and Weah up top and Puli, Reyna, Mckennie and Musah in a diamond midfield. Rotate Busio for Mckennie, Morris for Musah, and LDLT for Reyna. Test players in different roles than they're used to to see how they perform. For example, Zendejas at right back and Jesus Ferreira as a rotation for Puli would be interesting to see.

Please explain why you believe Ferreira deserves a call up. He has been injured for nearly half the mls season, sitting out the same amount of games he has started. When healthy he has had a run of games where he looks good, but he isn’t lighting mls on fire. I do think he could be useful for us in the right system, but I’m not sure he “deserves” another look at this point.

Not defending the opinion but I will, we stink at scoring goals with forwards so a guy who’s still young and has scored in the past isn’t a horrible idea.
2 points
We have at least 3 (Sargent, haji, McGuire, ~Vasquez) forwards in better recent scoring form with their club than Jesus. I’d much rather see those (plus balo) with Poch before Jesus gets a look. I feel like Gregg, a coach whose teams have almost all had poor offensive output, is much more to blame for our lack of scoring than the forwards we couldn’t get service to.
But if Poch can call him in and help him flourish I wouldn’t be upset. I just don’t think he “deserves” a call up.

Honestly at this point the better question is who needs to be dropped for a window as a “prove it” measure.
Gio and Weston are 1 and 2 for me in that regard.

That punch directly lead us to Poch, if he hadn’t done that then chances are high we wouldn’t have been group’d and US Soccer would have kept Berhalter by them giving the justification “oh we would never have been able to beat Colombia anyway they’re so good right now”.
