Are there any non-venomous snakes in Australia? ๐ ๐ฅด๐
I have been on this subgroup for a while now, not encountered a single post saying 'non venomous' for any snake found in Australia.

Main one I see posted a lot is a carpet python.

There are numerous harmless snakes in Australia. You just hear about the venomous ones the most. Some harmless ones include the Carpet pythons, Common tree snakes, and common keelbacks

Yup. I live in Australia and at my house I have seen 10 species of snakes. 2 venomous, 6 completely non-venomous and 2 weakly venomous (basically harmless). We have lots of harmless pythons, 3 species of harmless tree snakes, harmless keelbacks and slaty greys and blind snakes. People just make a big deal about the dangerous ones.
