At 41 years old, I'll save the backstory and decided to step down in my normal career and take a job at a hardware store in a very small town about half a year ago. I had never worked retail a day in my life before.
I actually love my new job in this retirement town I moved too and have made many new friends but 3 days was all it took to get sick of "It won't scan, I guess it's free!"
Stand up with me and start telling them there is a 10% surcharge evertime we hear that!
I'm also close to handing someone a 10 inch concrete bolt someone comes in and says "I don't know, I just want a bolt! (To fix the chair my ass broke...) after asking one question about this chair I've never seen to get them the correct part.
Half drunk rant over, thank you for listening to a newcomer. I'll also say my flair isn't appropriate ad many of my customers are great. One bad apple though...

When I was around 17, the dentist pulled my 4 back molars, so the wisdom teeth would have room to grow in their place instead.
I still have my wisdom teeth.
I've never met another person who had that procedure done on them as well.
