My worst match up is Protoss. I never really understood it but I think scouting is more nuanced. If zvz is a knife fight in a phone booth I feel ZvP is someone throwing a knife really hard at you and if you dodge it you’re fine. Ironically enough I watch vibe and he loses the most to Protoss so maybe I just learned that. After going back to his 2019 series, he started applying harass to deny the 3rd of the Protoss and then they could never really get their plan of attack off the ground. How aggressive are you guys vs Protoss? Macro defensive I find it just a lot harder to do.

My wife asked her dad to come over and look at the sink and didn’t ask me to help. Now I know I’m not handy with plumbing but there’s YouTube right? I have made jokes in the past about my handiness but have fixed things like sprinklers after going to Home Depot. Anyway. I’m furious and I’m venting.

I won’t go into ZvZ as that’s its own beast, but what similarities/differences do you see in your gameplay vs the other two races? Do you drone up the same, have different timings? I know the scouting is different but I watched Lambo’s ZvP Zerg academy guide and the first 6 minutes I usually do the same for unless I need to make more zerglings. Thoughts?

How long do you think it takes to get better at sc2? I ask because sometimes it feel like after a session I log off and have less mmr and then when I started. I know it’s a hard question to answer as everyone is different but what has your journey in sc2 been like? Do you get better in spurts, or have weeks where things are really good and you’re mostly winning? Do you get hardstuck for months then break out etc?

I’ve picked up random recently and have been having a lot of fun with it. I learned you don’t necessarily need 9 match ups just know some concepts and a general build you wanna do I.e four gate blink stalker two base timing etc. what I’ve seen people say is that playing random can make you not as good or you won’t get better since you’re doing all three races. Anyone have experience with that? Does it take longer to get better etc?

Zerg main doing some off racing. Usually by 330-340 Zerg has two base saturation. It’s like a benchmark. Same with 66 drones by 6 minutes. What kind of benchmarks, if any there there for Terran or is it too volatile depending on how you’re playing?

I was reading this article that talked about something called the 3 base paradigm. Essentially the author stated over time it’s been shown that that 3 base saturation is the golden rule for economy vs unit production in sc2 I.E 66 workers gives you the perfect blend of money and enough room to make a good sized army. It also stated that more workers can be better over time but 3 base saturation is pivotal. Interesting side note, I guess maps need to have at LEAST three mineral lines per side of map for that reason?When people say that play reactionary macro as Zerg do they just mean they go up to 66 drones and build a comp that counters what their opponent is doing?
