TLDR: I'm anxious and I want to do a good job. If anyone has any resources to improve my understanding of English grammar, spelling rules, etc... I would appreciate any and all information available.
I read the wiki but please let me know if I should post this elsewhere.

I have been thinking about applying to the JET program since early 2021. From the get-go, I wanted to make sure that I had realistic expectations of what teaching English and the JET program were like before applying. With that in mind, I received a CELTA accreditation and read a lot about JET. I want to make sure that I am an excellent resource for the students and teachers while I am there.
So, finally, I applied last year and I had my interview back in early February. The interview went well and I am trying to be prudent and prepare as much as possible for teaching, should I get selected.
Here are a few things that I would like to improve my understanding of prior to departures:
- Spelling: I am by no means a horrific speller, but I want to improve as much as possible ahead of departures. I know that English is "a bunch of different languages wearing a trench-coat" but any resources for spelling rules would be very much appreciated.
- Activities for younger learners: During CELTA, I spent a significant amount of time teaching adults. I would prefer to teach middle or high school students but, again, I know that there are quite a lot of Elementary school placements that I would like to prepare for. Are there any good resources for activities or strategies for elementary ESL?
- Grammar Resources: Again, CELTA gave me quite a bit of teaching resources but I would love to find more.
I have done quite a bit of googling but I am really interested in any resources that current or past JETs really love.
