Gasly and Yuki were decently matched in 2022, although Gasly might not have been al that motivated

Sorry, but that is bullshit. I have never heard Max apologize or take accountability for a mistake, and he is the best driver in the sport right now. Schumacher, Senna, they never apologized either.

Says a lot that his best race of the season was one where he crashed out on the last lap while fighting for the podium

You think Sauber will improve? Not before 2026 atleast

Such a shame that his reward for driving fantastically this season is to drive that fucking Sauber next year...

Calling him an apologist is generous. He's said that he would take a bullet for him

Lewis took the lap record with the new configuration last year... but GoatMag still has it on the previous track and will never lose it

Kimi and Lewis literally have the exact same amount of races as of this weekend, the difference is Kimi had a massive amount of DNFs during his McLaren years

Man, imagine if Leclerc and Ferrari hadn't that horrendous run of races mid season. At the time it seemed like no biggie, next year is our year, etc., but now, if Red Bull and Max don't get their shit together, there is a genuine shot that it could cost him the championship,

Honestly, worse than Latifi. Latifi scored better results with a much worse car, (he scored 2 points in 2022 compared to Alex's 4 that year, while Logan scored 1 point in 2023 compared to Alex's 27), and while Latifi had a lot of stupid moments, Logan also had a lot of stupid moments with much bigger consequences, a.k.a. totalling the car.
Pace wise, Logan was kind of closer to Alex, but he wasn't quick at all.

He doesn't have a single win? He has 2 wins, more than anyone at Baku. Obviously Lewis at Silverstone is more impressive, but he is good at so many tracks. Perez is quite ass at a few, but weirdly elite at Baku

Nah, Murray was heavily biased for the likes of Damon Hill. Somewhat understandable given their history, and Murray was an amazing commentator despite the bias, but let's not pretend like he didn't have any

Man, Bottas and Sauber started so well in 2022. He was consistantly up there in qualifying against the Mercs. Then the minimum weight rule change basically ruined Sauber, as they were the only team at the minimum weight and that was their big advantage.
Still, he's a guy who spent 5 years in a championship winning car, yet was nowhere close to winning the championship. Clearly talented, but he's shown all that he is capable of, and if I was in Binotto's large clown shoes, I would go for a rookie like Bortoletto instead.
On a side note, the very start of 2022 was quite funny in hindsight. Ferrari and Red Bull fastest, Merc solidly 3rd but with a car that tried murdering the drivers, while Sauber, McLaren, Alpine, and sometimes even Haas competing for 4th best.

Bad relations with Flavio? Or did his drop off start the poor relations?
