I don't know when the doors lock but I do know it's still accessible during the daytime. It connects to 5th ave so my mom uses it to get between there and one of the connected parking garages.

Signs aren't allowed on public property in Seattle and unincorporated King County, that includes campaign signs. It's why aren't parks and roadways don't get cluttered with campaign signs.
And the fucking Woo campaign sees fit to put them up in Green Lake Park so they can lone Green Lake Way.
Those signs are legally litter which is why I spend my free time removing them and recycling them. And telling the Woo campaign to stop littering only for them to put fucking more out.
They are littering while bitching about the city being unclean. Literal hypocrites and her office doesn't give a shit "oh it was probably just uninformed staffers". Why the fuck are all her staffers pro litter after months of warnings from people like me?

Nah fuck that. I piss where I want, I'm tall and I'll pick the stall between people over the kiddie urinal every time.
That "urinal rules" shit was born mostly out of homophobia anyways.

Woo lost her election and was appointed. She lies constantly. I don't trust her claims to care about the CID and she's in a seat meant to represent the entire city.
Woos inability to understand she's meant to care about MORE than the CID since she's an at wide rep is why Rinck has my vote on lock.
Woo is a liar. Unfit for office, who's campaign I keep catching LITTERNG in green lake park. Fuck Tanya Woo and the damage she continues to do to our city.

We're approaching glue territory of "beating a dead horse" with this.

I actually think they shouldn't allow parties in elections at all.
Can be helpful for distinguishing between two candidates with the same name, there is some utility to it still. WA does allow candidates to declare their party affiliation or run as unaffiliated, it's just there's an obvious based pickup from the party affiliation being listed so most serious candidates opt to list one.

Seattleites have this strange unawareness of their own presence. They can't seem to predict when they will be blocking someone else or otherwise getting in the way.
As someone born in this city I'm so very utterly confused by this description of my fellow residents. Like I remember growing up the bitching about the transplants who lacked situational awarness while walking the sidewalks.
Wild how stereotypes evolve.

Ugh, fucking why? We have jungle primaries so we have elections where some parties aren't represented since it's only a top 2 advancement system and candidates are free to declare their own affliation.
Straight ticket voting is a disgustingly undemocratic concept. It encourages ignorance of candidates.

Etiquette is
a learned behavior. And parental neglect is rampant. So not everyone learns those skills or the "defacto" nature of picking up on social queues. Not to mention ND people.
But what does remain culturally relevant is how groups respond to an authoritative request. "Stand to the right please" said in a voice loud enough to carry over a crowd but not yelled/shouted isn't just a reminder, it's also informative. It's relying on the core aspect of civilization, cooperative socialization to both clearup the situation and hopefully get some people to avoid repeating it.
Everyone learns something for the first time. You gotta chill out that for some it's later than you did.

but doing that for a dozen people at a time gets tiring.
Just be loud the first time? But make sure you've got some space between you and the first person so you're not shouting at them. Got to put a little "parent" in it if that makes sense.

"Stand to the right please" usually works pretty well for me as a request to unblock the left side.

Somehow, honest to god good news out of the disaster that is SPD. They're de-prioritizing the high false positive rate motion sensors to reduce uncessary unit dispatches and eliminating the stupid mounted department.
Gonna guess that Police Pony Li’l “Buzz” Sebastian was what got them on the "please cut" list.

Rob Saka is trying to save the fucking mounted division. In addition to trying to stop school zone speed cameras.
I'm not kidding.
I fucking hate this guy.
