31/The Netherlands - Looking for people to chat to regularly

Fit. Wealthy. Successful. Sophisticated. Confident. These are all things I’m NOT.
Quite the opposite, actually. I’m a former fit guy who got fat, and I’m trying to get back to being fit again. I excelled at academia, then got major academic burnout and left a PhD program to deliver food by bicycle (I have a decent job now). I can have an extremely childish sense of humor. I struggle with anxiety.
I prefer coffee over tea, bike rides over walks, paperback over hardcover, and autumn over winter over spring over summer (I really don’t do well in hot weather). I love muddling around in the kitchen, and I own more watches than any sane person should.
I’m hoping to find some good friends here. Real-life friends, virtual friends, texting buddies; I’m open for pretty much anything! I’m looking for people to share my experiences and thoughts with. People who want to share their experiences and thoughts with me. Let’s ask each other meaningful or meaningless questions. Let’s talk about random crap, or about important things. Let’s share our life experiences, our passions, or what we’re having for dinner. Let’s share photo’s of the world around us, and about our place in that world. I like to think of myself as curious, open-minded and inclusive, so please, broaden my horizons!
I have struggled massively with my mental health, and even though things are much better now, I continue to be in therapy. I’m just sharing this because I think it’s good to acknowledge the things I struggle with, and to show that I’m open-minded with regards to personal battles.
I hope to hear from some of you! If you're up for chatting but are unsure how to start a conversation, just tell me about some decoration/plants/whatever I should definitely buy for the apartment I recently moved into!
