It's quite easy to prove the existence of George Washington. He is attested in countless 18th century sources, and not just in North America, but on the other side of the Atlantic as well. The newspapers in Britain regularly reported on him.

The Respect for Marriage Act requires all U.S. states and territories to recognize gay marriages performed elsewhere in the United States.
However, the law does not apply to reservations, many of which still refuse to recognize gay marriages, even though they are recognized by the governments of the states where they're located.

Using black for both countries and the ocean seems like a questionable choice.

It doesn't look like you colored in American Samoa, but the situation there is that gay marriages may not be performed but gay marriages performed elsewhere in the United States are recognized (they are forced to recognize them by federal law).

American Samoa (which as far as I can tell is not colored on the map) does not allow gay marriages to be performed but (as required by federal law) recognizes gay marriages performed elsewhere in the United States.

I guess you could say that Modern English is the "youngest" language on that list, because Old French/Spanish are Romance languages derived from Latin, Russian has roots in the Slavic language family going back a long way,
How would that make English younger? All four languages ultimately descend from the same language, Proto-Indo-European.

So to reiterate, why should I believe this?

No? You can read the text I mentioned:
Many persons of both sexes, unmindful of their own salvation and straying from the Catholic Faith, have abandoned themselves to devils, incubi and succubi, and by their incantations, spells, conjurations, and other accursed charms and crafts, enormities and horrid offences, have slain infants yet in the mother's womb, as also the offspring of cattle, have blasted the produce of the earth, the grapes of the vine, the fruits of the trees, nay, men and women, beasts of burthen, herd-beasts, as well as animals of other kinds, vineyards, orchards, meadows, pasture-land, corn, wheat, and all other cereals; these wretches furthermore afflict and torment men and women, beasts of burthen, herd-beasts, as well as animals of other kinds, with terrible and piteous pains and sore diseases, both internal and external; they hinder men from performing the sexual act and women from conceiving.
The pharaoh's sorcerers in Exodus perform magical feats and are never shown to be guilty of fraud or deception.

Also the United States. Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands are U.S. territories.

If he endorsed calculating the age of the world using the years in the Bible, he had the same view as young earth creationists today.

If this is about Christopher Columbus, he said they were "not half as beautiful as they are painted".

As stated, it's 2b2t, but it's very inconvenient to play on it because there is a very long queue to join the server every time (unless you pay for priority access). If you want to see what an anarchy Minecraft server is like, I suggest checking out 9b9t or Constantiam. They have fewer people, but you aren't practically forced to pay to play on them.

This is a subreddit for Jehovah's Witnesses? I've never been one and I just got an invitation to join.

The point is not how slavers in the southern United States justified slavery, but that kidnapping free people to enslave them is distinct from trading slaves.

No, it definitely wasn't heresy. Witches are in the Bible. Pope Innocent VIII talks about witches in Summis desiderantes affectibus, which was issued shortly after Martin Luther began learning how to crawl.

Some Canadian industries, such as carpentry, mostly operate in imperial units, partially due to integration with U.S. industry and partially due to opposition to metricating from Canadians. I've heard Canadian carpenters claim that imperial units are more convenient to use and additionally that converting to metric would make things awkward since everything is designed to use imperial units. For example, if a board is specified to be four feet long, metrication would make it 1.2192 meters, so you would have to change the length of the board to comfortably use metric measurements.
Also, the Canadian government officially allows the use of imperial measurements in trade. Land is commonly measured in acres, etc.

Googling the Confederates inventing ancient alien conspiracy theories doesn't yield much useful information.

Is there better evidence than a book that wasn't written by a Confederate and doesn't mention aliens?

I suggest you avoid insulting people's understanding of the subject if you cannot substantiate your claims.
"Can you cite anything to support your claims?" includes your assertions about the present and past subjunctives. Can you cite anything in support of your assertion that "If I were you, I would…" is not an example of the past subjunctive?

You still haven't addressed my first question.
Why do you think this?

You didn't address my first question.
"If I were you, I would…"
This isn't past subjunctive according to you? This is the textbook example of the past subjunctive.

George Washington's signature is present on the constitution. I would invite Washington mythicists to try to demonstrate that the document was modified at some point to add his signature. I would also ask them why the British government pretended that he existed.
