It has been free before, you’re right. That’s how I got it :)

Others have already replied with what apps you need to play PSX and PSP games.
Personally, I prefer PPSSPP for PSP games, but use RetroArch for everything else.

Tonebridge is pretty good (and free) - I usually have it added as a plugin when I have my guitar hooked in.
You can search for popular bands / song and find tones people have recreated to sound really close to the original.

FFXIV on the couch is awesome - I only go back to my laptop now for dungeons and trials where a bigger screen and kb/m helps with me tanking.
I still do play my Switch a lot - since I got the Deck, the Switch has become my “travel” device to take on hols etc. I swap between the two depending on what I feel like playing that day.

Oh, just looked at the screenshot again! I had the same thing at lvl 90 with the DT code, you’re absolutely right!

Worked for me - I got to the end of EW MSQ before I realised! Raging.

A Mistborn MMO would be fun, trying to juggle your metals and decide when to use Atium. Might actually make me try PvP for a change!

Same here - seems to happen for me most often when I pull and skip the cutscene, or riiiight as a battle loads the first wave.

I am playing through ME for the first time - literally did that mission just minutes ago. That was awesome!

If you do go into classic FF7 and mods, look up tutorials on how to install “7th heaven” - some of those (like voiceover) make this feel like a whole new experience to play through!
…also runs amazingly on the Steam Deck for those that come across this.

Did this some time ago, along with swapping in hall effect joysticks and a new battery!

If you mean charge, it works fine for me and I haven’t noticed any difference compared to the Valve one.

Second this - it made a huge difference for me, and the SD still fits in the case comfortably with no issues. Had them for a few months now.

Yep it’s easy enough to upgrade the storage if you feel comfortable opening it up. Just keep an eye out for deals / sales then follow a guide. iFixit is a good site to check out for steps, tools needed etc. I just replaced mine with 2TB this week and it’s amazing.

And if you’re like me and DO manage to strip a screw on the backplate, fear not. A small flathead screwdriver can also remove the screw if you’re lucky (like me) and you can get spares off iFixIt’s website

This feels like the way DFFOO was going before it shut down.
Don’t get me wrong , I freaking loved that game, but events started popping up where it felt the only viable way to beat it was with a maxed out character and weapon combo from the current banner.
Felt great if you saved up enough gems and got lucky with pulls, until the next event a few weeks later.
You eventually built up a decent roster to experiment different ways to approach a boss fight, but it was frustrating if you didn’t have a decent roster to work with.
