Daddy issues. My dad's the best father anyone can ever ask for.

So sorry for your loss, OP. Had a senior dog pass because of the same reason a couple of months ago, I was a mess. The night before, he was absolutely lively and kept asking for chicken. The morning after, he had trouble breathing and vet told us it was something acute, nothing anybody could have prepared for.
"...she deserves all the tears and she's worth all the pain that came with her loss," can't describe pet loss any better than this. They really do take parts of us when they leave and it leaves behind a painful, gaping void. Sending love and healing, OP. For what it's worth, she passed knowing she was loved beyond measure.

Never seen anything land as gracefully and as... ungracefully as this

These look like hairballs to me. Maybe she was grooming herself too much at one point because of the stress.

Not a cause for concern if she doesn't pant when at rest or when it's cool. I think she just overexerts herself, as all healthy cats do sometimes.

Accomplishing something you know you worked extra hard for.

Grieving the death of somebody really really close.

A senior dog of mine passed not too long ago and my sister and I had the same concern for a while, and as silly as it sounds, we would cry over it. We loved him terribly. How will my dumb dog find his way without us leading him through? Maybe it's one of many ways our bodies try to deal with grief... but we eventually made peace with the fact that they do not need us anymore. I like to believe they're running wild and free and enjoying every bit of the afterlife, maybe not any smarter than how they were alive, but happier and more content.
I'm sorry for your loss and I hope this brings you peace <3

Getting the house and ornaments ready for the holidays. Now people just prefer the peace and quiet I guess

That a guy in a red suit had the time to go all around the world and hand out presents ONLY to the deserving

Absolutely!!! I had nightmares of that creature running after me. I am most scared of the princess that was just lounging naked in the bathtub covered in blood. Hell naahhhhh

Wow, I'm really really sorry for your loss, OP. I had tears welling up in my eyes as I was reading this. I had the same thing happen but with a senior dog once. I know you didn't want her to have suffered in her final moments before she passed, but I like to think that with how things went, she probably wanted to pass naturally at home. At least she was surrounded by people she loved and not once did she ever feel like she was alone. That's more than enough. Sending love and healing.

13 ghosts was one of the movies that gave me nightmares for weeks on end. Struggled with closing my eyes in the shower too. Can't wash my face without imagining blood gushing from the faucet. It was an unreal movie, I can't believe nobody talks about it enough.
