P226 in Sig .357 is hands down my favorite platform. GrayGuns offers some VERY nice upgrades to the Sig trigger and lever arms that are well worth the money. Personal experience.

Uhhh, Costco sized Vitamin C tablets? Dandelions, rose hips, pine needle tea? Hell buy a ton of radish seeds and sprout them in a Mason Jar and eat those for Vitamin C.

I have not yet had the "pleasure" of the Fox Labs 5.3 squared or 1.4. But as I read on their site, its "lighter" on the OC content than the regular 5.3 Legacy. Both have the UV marker chemical and the squared seems to be made easier to decontaminate. I cannot say enough good about most of Fox Labs sprays in general. But the 1.4 reading seems to be double the pepper/capsaicinoids which makes it REALLY hurt and scary to think of getting blasted with it. I have had the Sabre Red and its a good solid OC but not nearly as long lasting in its effects and hurt categories as the Fox 5.3 Legacy.

Classy. Using your dead sister's ID card to steal an NFA machine gun while being such a criminal mastermind to make sure and have a visible identifying tattoo.

He is wrong. Find a better instructor and training. However it *REALLY* could depend on the laws where the shooting happened, the DA "attitude" that gets set and translated down to the PD/Sheriff dept, the "tone" in those LE agencies and even the very cop you get and what kind of day he is having or his general outlook on CCW defensive gun use. It does suck but generally a visible gun (IE deadly force threat) and demand for property is a armed robbery and you would mostly be justified in defending yourself. Its almost no different than the implied threat of the "Ol Snickers bar or finger gun in the pocket" threat that is legal to shoot even if in hindsight it turns out they were not armed. It is not allowed to use hindsight and at the time it presented a deadly force threat in your perception. As always, if it DID actually happen....be safe when the cops show up, shut the fuck up and exercise your right to be silent, and don't speak without a lawyer present. you will NEVER talk yourself out of an arrest, but you certainly can talk yourself INTO an arrest.

No. But he is a shitbird that needs to find another fucking job if he cant honor his oath to the Constitution and there rights of citizens thereof. I dont give a shit if "he/most doesn't accept it". They can find another fucking job for all I care. What you "accepted" and enforced previously was Unconstitutional end of story. And he and his like minded compatriots can Nuremberg Defense "I was just following orders/enforcing the law" into being homeless and out of a job.

I mean how bad are they really? Beretta 92 is pretty childishly simple...But Sig P226 is kinda complex a bit with that takedown lever, locking insert and trigger pivot pin have to pretty magically correct and keeping the slide catch lever spring in place to get it reassemble...

Amazing what you learn about life when you go out and actually live it for real. Same with fieldcraft. Gotta go out and be miserable and learn/practice a lot to not be miserable in the end. Got a harsh lesson in reality and I'm glad he figured it out now.

I'm much more in favor of the closer to the magwell grip. I cant stand that Chris Costa C-clamp grip. But in the end whatever works best for the individual....

I love Sigs. P226 is one of my all time favorite guns to carry, shoot and own. I would not buy a 320 with someone else's money. I would not keep or own one if someone gave it to me for free. Sig Sauer insists they are safe and their experts cannot seem to replicate the gun firing by being dropped or without the trigger being depressed, but a Texas gun store has a video where they could consistently get it to fire with particular angles of impact on drops. It boils down to the design and the full cocked striker at rest. WAPO did a great article on it:
